I Love to Artsy Around

I love to paint and be in the studio when it's raining. It's so cozy and fun. Today will be partly one of my straighten up days. Geez, I don't understand how I get so messy. Snips and drips and so forth. But ... I like even the straightening and organizing part of my artsy fun. So ... after a few chores ... color me in the studio. The little witchy above flew to ebay, she and another baby witchy. There are quite a few more in there that will be begging me to play, but I have some other projects that need my attention.
Thanks for your emails and prayers. Our lil' princess of joy did super on her surgery for tubes in her ears. She had a couple rough hours, but by later yesterday afternoon, she was back to her cutie sweet self. The drops in her ears are very painful, and it hurts, but somehow they manage to get them in. Well, until later. Keep creating, :) P

Mixed Media Witchy

Well, my first little witchys are on ebay. I've been busy in the studio today. It was a beautiul day, so I helped with some yard work just to enjoy the outdoors. I'm a great weed eater. LOL I have lot's of things ready for ebay and hope to list some more things tomorrow.
QUESTION: What the heck happened to followers. Blogger must have made another change and I hate it. None of them appear. I noticed on other peoples blogs to. Anyone know the scoop?
There are some awesome prim artists on this blog "To Dwell In Primitive Times"-http://www.tdiptmercantile.com/ I love visiting, talent is everywhere on there. Give it a go. You'll see what I mean.
I got my latest issue of Artful Blogging. Another super issue. I don't know how Sommerset turns out so many quality magazines. They are wonderful. You learn interesting things and visit interesting people's blogs. Most are pretty expensive, but worth every penny. They share other artist's techniques and types of art. It doesn't get any better. A must have for my studio. Well, back to creating! :) Until later.

Spooky Studio Sunday

Yep ... a little witchy was visiting today. She's been venturing in all week, swirling ideas and sparkles of halloween visions. So ... Halloween popped out of my paint puddles and on to a few fun adventures. I tried to photograph my favorite piece. But, I need a tutorial on closeups. The piece I finished is the size of a chapstick. It's a wooden needle case that I purchased on a treasure hunt some time back. I got two. I painted this one with a friend in mind. I'm including the picture but you can not see any of my details. I painted the whole thing with a liner brush, for tole painters who remember the term. LOL The rest are just Fall offerings for E-bay or gifts or swaps or what ever.

So, I've felt pretty productive this week. It was fun, since I love Halloween. Have a wonderful creative week. :)P
