Creating Some Halloween Whimsy

I can't believe how busy life has been lately. Fun busy ... but the last couple weeks I haven't gotten to play art much. I've managed a few pieces and yes ... my witchys are back in the studio. I love working with Halloween ideas. I have included a couple of new ATCs that transpired. They are both on Ebay now. I better get off to work. Have a great creative week. :) P

Canvas Angel Update

Well, I've made a little progress, they all have faces. LOL I need to add something, I don't have the feeling they are finished. But, for tonight they are.
There is a winter storm warning here until tomorrow night at midnight. Geez! It's like you're waiting for the gillotine to fall. LOL Supposedly 4 to 8", but nothing yet but flurries. So ... I'm hoping they are wrong once again.
I painted another angel aceo on paper covered chip board. I need to get a pic and then I'll post. Here's to a continued creative week. Until later, P

This little ACEO I call Do You Hear What I Hear? This pretty little girl can hear the church bells through the falling snow. I've been working on ACEOs and I'm in an ornment swap that I have to get in the mail by Dec. 1 for our on-line group. It will be so fun to see what I get. It's my first ornament swap.
Tomorrow night we are celebrating my Princess of Joy's 1st birthday. It does not seem possible that a year has gone by. OMGosh! Well just dropping in for a quick post. Hug,P

Halloween Is Haunting Me

I just can't shake the witchys! They have taken control of my paint brushes and photos. I love it when I'm going with the flow. It's so fun. I'm including some pictures of the ACEOs I'm working on. I am also redoing an old doll I dug out of a bag in my attic. She had no face, but now she does. I'm searching for a witch hat, I really feel she needs one. I started out with a colored pencil technique and then added some paint. Still some things to work on, but she's pretty scary and homely. LOL But, loved. I'm finishing up some candle sticks I started last year. They need to be grunged.
Anyway, I've missed bloggin this busy week. I love each and every comment and email. I love visiting all my creative friends, lot's of new grammy's out there. I'm working on sharing a video with you, maybe later today, when I get the link situated. Until later, keep creating and a happy "BOO" to you. Anyone else getting the Spooky feelings out there? LOL :)P

Continuing

I know this a picture heavy post, but they say more than I can. I'm still jealous of Rosie's big space, but I'm alot happier with mine today. When I add more storage from IKEA as time goes by things will only get better.



Well ... you can see I've made a dent. It was so relaxing sorting and rearranging. I'm sure you all know where I'm coming from. My favorite project was the new surface + my table and my piles of Somerset mags and art books are now looking so tidy. I'm thinking a little stitching and early to bed. My guy is already nodded off in his chair. He said I'm to hard on him. LOL I'm looking for comments on tips for organization, so keep me motivated. Hugs, :o)P
