Zendoodle Request

My friends daughter has a new interest. Octopus. Hmmm? But, she loves my zens so I agreed. I looked at lots of pictures and it was a real struggle for me. It's kind of out of my comfort zone, yet I like how it turned out. It was the usual fun playing with zentangles. Anyway, I hope she likes it. Here it is Jenny, if you drop by.
This Spring has flown by. Busy, busy and more busy. I hope that July will take a slower pace. I don't get much posting done, but surf around and drop by all my favs. The weather has been way past "REALLY WET". Icky, stormy, muggy. I wish we could share with the south part of the country that is dry as a bone. Well, I'm creating as always just forgetting to photograph. Thanks for dropping by! :) P

I Want to Post More

Wow ... life has been busy. Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know I'm still creating, just differently. It involves a bedroom redo, clear down to the original plaster, crocheting, painting another chair for my daughters studio. In the process of picking paint for my bathroom spruce up. I'm also changing hours at work and will be working 4 ten hour days. Same as my hub. We can take one of our vehicles off the commute and I'll have three day weekends. Yipppeee. I'm so looking forward to it. I wish I could say I've accomplished the pictured pile of pretties, but, it is just an inspirational pic that I love. Until later, hugs, P

Creative Hangout

Wanted to mention the great creative place to hang out. Lot's of creative women sharing their talents and accomplishments. I don't know how to make it a clickable link, so you will have to copy and paste. Lot's of pictures, I was in an ornament swap, and got my items this week. A couple of Sweetest pics. She loves fabric and scarves, busy busy. Her Nana is collecting old child costumes and dance pretties for her dress up trunk. Great finds at garage sales. We're pretty sure it will be right up her alley. In the background, is our Wynnie, her constant side kick. Watches over her like a mother hen.

Altered Studio

Well if I don't get so far as altered art this weekend ... I hope I at least get my studio altered, as in cleaned. It needs some spring organization! Badly. Anyone else feeling the need for clean or cleaned up? LOL I love having STUFF for my creative muse ... but the little people, fairies, etc. never help clean up. Walking out and shutting the door only works so long, then you have to wade in and freshen that creative little spot. Once I get to it ... I love doing it. Such a sense of accomplishment. I'm hoping for a bit of new surface to spread out on. May not get that far this weekend.

I wanted to share this awesome pic that I got on my flea market escapade. Isn't it wonderful? I see a possible Halloween scene. I love the side walk, it's raised wood. Notice the parents proud stance at the posts. For such an early pic, it is bigger than 8 x 10 which is unusual. (Click to enlarge) I can't wait to do something with it.
