New Eye Candy

I wanted to post the cutest little candy favors my daughter made for my granddaughters graduation. Little wraps for little Hersheys. Next weekend we have a party planned for the graduate. She graduated early, but is doing the ceremony next Sunday with the entire class. She already has a couple months of cosmetology college in. It's really stressful, but she loves it and the whole family helps anyway we can. That's why I love having Miss M while Mom's at school, which includes Saturdays. Believe me ... she is not at a loss for baby care. Friends, extended family, family all want time with Miss M and help Tay make a go of it.

I got the most adorable new eye candy for my studio. She arrived from Cindi Hubbard. Cindi is part of Kindred Sisters Gathering Post Shoppe. It's the neatest little place on the web. Cindi, she is even more darling than pictured and her colors work perfect in my studio. Love her to pieces. Thanks for the quality, fast service and she will be treasured. She reminds me of our Princess of Joy.
Hope everyone is having a great memorial weekend. Hug, :) P

Spreading Out In My Studio

Happy Mother's Day! It was beautiful weather, just a tad cool, but I loved it. My girls called and we did a four generation breakfast out. It wasn't planned so that made it more fun.
My sweet helped me clear out non-studio items from my space. It opened up more room to spread out. He added an 8 foot section of surface for being creative. I organized and cleaned and dumped until I'm pooped. We will be putting my window air in soon, but for now it's on the floor. I also painted a little dresser aqua and black with polka-do handles. LOL It was an ugly cinnamon color, and I now it's so artsy cute.
I like lot's of color in my studio ... but the wall colors are calming and I love it out there.

Altered Studio

Well if I don't get so far as altered art this weekend ... I hope I at least get my studio altered, as in cleaned. It needs some spring organization! Badly. Anyone else feeling the need for clean or cleaned up? LOL I love having STUFF for my creative muse ... but the little people, fairies, etc. never help clean up. Walking out and shutting the door only works so long, then you have to wade in and freshen that creative little spot. Once I get to it ... I love doing it. Such a sense of accomplishment. I'm hoping for a bit of new surface to spread out on. May not get that far this weekend.

I wanted to share this awesome pic that I got on my flea market escapade. Isn't it wonderful? I see a possible Halloween scene. I love the side walk, it's raised wood. Notice the parents proud stance at the posts. For such an early pic, it is bigger than 8 x 10 which is unusual. (Click to enlarge) I can't wait to do something with it. Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be checking in. :O) P

New Year Baby

Well our little Marley woke up just a few minutes past midnight to ring in the new year. Her celebration didn't last long, as a changed diaper and she was back in dream land. Giggle! She didn't like her first shots this week, it made her mommy and Nana sad too, but Marley made it through like a trooper. Just have to share the sweetness.
I have gotten a little bit of creating done in the studio. Some fun pieces with a little Valentine muse going on. Our garage has been put on a bit of a hold ... winter weather. I so want to spread out in my studio, but, there are items that can't be moved until the garage is done.
I am really enjoying my Artful Blogging from Stampington.
I got the subscription from my daughter for Christmas. I read, read, and become inspired to try new things.
Hurry up Spring. :o) Pj
