Sharing Stitches

I have sewed some pin cushions from my x-stitch, and a small pillow for my shelf. They're stuffed and I'm going to get them sewed shut today. Yippee. I love the prairie cloth pillow the best. I'm not going to use Aida or structured x-stitch material anymore. I love the linen and prairie cloth look, feel and finished items the best. They dye up better and have a more prim look. The touch of vanilla to the dye smells wonderful when they are drying in the oven. I got one item up on ebay. So I feel better, however, I'm hoping the weekend will bring more time in my studio.
I was busy with activities this past weekend, and they were all really fun times. Grandpa and I danced with Marley at my cousins wedding reception. She just grinned the whole time. LOL She already knows we're goofy. Ha.

Sunday we had a fish fry and the kids came over for a late lunch. I'm including a picture of Marley on Uncle Noah's lap. For some reason she picked that moment to mess her pants big time. Noah just holds his nose until someone comes to the rescue. Giggle. She can clear a room in no time. LOLOLOL But...we love her anyway.

I have something new in the hoop. I'll share it on Whatcha Workin' On Wednesday.
