A Whole New Year ... Coming Up!

I'm trying to finish projects I started this year. I have two more stitching projects that need my attention. I don't remember why I lost interest in them. I came across them looking for a new stitching project. So ... I'm going to finish them now. I want to have them done by the time I go back to work after new years eve. I'm thinking of giving one as a giveaway on my blog later. Anyone else out there finishing up? I want to try something new, or put more effort into an art that isn't going well for me. Punch needle. I'm not uniform in my loops (I have the best needles too) and some items look to shabby when I'm done, that's frustrating for me. I'm trying to decide if I should keep punching away or try something else. I like little projects I can do in front of the TV, when I'm not in my studio. Hmmm? I have also been practicing the blanket stitch, it's going allot better, thanks to some help from Tolentreasures. I also have some new Moda fabric that I'm making yoyos with. That's really relaxing and I can take it with me. I really want to do some more paper art projects, tags, etc. Maybe my friend and teammate will have a brainstorm. How about something country prim for Valentines Day. One of my goals for 2009 is to enter more art challenges. Giggle. Anyway ... I'm going to be gone to our little while for New Years in Missouri. So ... I wanted to wish everyone a happy, healthy, prosperous, creative, fun, adventure filled 2009. I'm so thankful for all the fun, friendship and joy we all share in our Blog Land. Hugs, :o) P

Very cute. Until yesterday, I had company staying in my crafting room...but, I, too, am anxious to get at all those UFOs.
